Terms of Use

«Noahide Match» is a private, non-commercial, and free service provided by Daniel Oberste-Berghaus in Switzerland (hereinafter the «Service» and the «Provider»).

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Service. All users of the Service (hereinafter the «Users») must always comply with these Terms of Use at all times.

1. Purpose of the Service

  1. The Service is a value-based matchmaking platform exclusively open to righteous non-Jews (Bnei Noach) who:
    • commit to observing the Seven Noahide Laws as articulated by Maimonides (the Rambam);
    • acknowledge and respect the unique historical and spiritual role of the Jewish people;
    • refrain from adopting Jewish religious symbols, rituals, or holidays, in accordance with halachic guidance; and
    • support and uphold traditional family and social roles and values.
  1. The Service is strictly limited to Users who
    • are at least 18 years old and of full legal age in their place of residence;
    • use the Service solely in the spirit of the Seven Noahide Laws;
    • do not incorporate Jewish religious identities or practices into their own observance; and
    • seek a serious life partnership rooted in Torah principles and the Seven Noahide Laws.
  1. The Provider may publish further information on the purpose of the Service on its website.
  1. The Provider reserves the right, at any time and without justification, to deny or restrict access to Users whose beliefs, conduct, or use of the Service conflict with the values of the Service.

2. User Registration

  1. Users must register with accurate and complete information for a user account and profile. The Provider specifies which information is mandatory. Users have no legal entitlement to registration.
  1. Users are fully responsible for all activities carried out under their accounts and profiles.

3. Code of Conduct

  1. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of Switzerland and of their place of residence, including but not limited to those governing artificial intelligence, copyright, data protection, personality rights, and trademarks.
  1. The Provider may modify, suspend, or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice.
  1. Users are fully responsible for all content they publish, submit, upload, or otherwise make available through the Service (hereinafter the «User Content»). Users confirm that they have all rights necessary to submit User Content.
  1. Users must refrain from
    • submitting misleading, offensive, or unlawful User Content,
    • promoting ideologies or practices contrary to the Seven Noahide Laws or disrespectful of the Jewish people;
    • misrepresenting themselves or others; and
    • using the Service for commercial, political, or proselytizing purposes.
  1. Users agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless the Provider from and against all claims, damages, expenses, and losses of any kind, including all legal costs, arising from their use of the Service or User Content.
  1. Users grant the Provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable and worldwide license to use User Content as deemed necessary to operate and provide the Service (hereinafter the «License»). The License ends when Users delete their User Content, except for User Content already published, in backup copies, or shared with others.
  1. The Provider may amend, block, delete, reject, revise, or suspend User Content at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice.

4. Service Content and Intellectual Property

  1. All images, texts, and other resources provided through the Service (hereinafter the «Service Content») are the property of the Provider or its licensors. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior permission.
  1. Service Content is provided solely for educational and inspirational purposes. Service Content shall not be considered halachic, legal, or psychological advice.

5. Limitation of Liability and Warranties

  1. The Service is provided «as is». The Provider makes no guarantees or warranties of any kind.
  1. The Service may be discontinued or interrupted at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice.
  1. The Provider is not responsible for User Content, User conduct, or the use of the Service.
  1. The Provider shall, to the fullest extent permitted by law, not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to emotional, financial, or personal loss arising from
    • interactions or relationships formed through the Service;
    • reliance on communications, information, and recommendations from Users or other sources;
    • User conduct, online or offline; and
    • use of, or the inability to use, the Service.
  1. The Provider does not verify User claims and identities. The Provider does not mediate or monitor communications between Users.

6. Miscellaneous

  1. The Provider may amend these Terms of Use at any time by publishing the amended version on its website. For material changes, the Provider will make reasonable efforts to notify Users
  1. If any provision of these Terms of Use is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
  1. These Terms of Use are governed exclusively by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law principles. The sole place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from or in connection with the Service is the legal domicile of the Provider.
